Master’s Bible Church is committed to the biblical mandate of making disciples (Matt 28:18-20). The first step in this discipleship commission is to see souls saved by the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the glory of God the Father and in the power of God the Holy Spirit (Eph 1; 1 Thess 1:5).
We recognize the grace and love that God has shown us by His shining the light of the Gospel into our hearts so that we would know the glory of God in the face of Christ (2 Cor 4:6). It is because of this love freely given to us that we are compelled to preach the glory of Christ to all people, starting in Vancouver WA and across the globe, as we trust God to open blind minds (2 Cor 4:4). Therefore, our task is to preach a message that is powerful enough in itself to overcome that blindness. And that message is none other than the Gospel expressed in the Lordship of Christ (2 Cor 4:5; Jas 1:18; 1 Pet 1:23–25).
Throughout the year we look for various opportunities to be a light to our neighbors and in our community. During Farmer's Market season, a group of us go to Esther Short Park and preach the gospel while handing out tracts. This has been met with much criticism but also with much encouragement. As we look forward to being located in Camas, our goal is to find opportunities in this beautiful community and surrounding area to do some more outreach.
